File Tax Returns For Free, But Read The Rules

Blog Post Date: Feb 08 2010
File your tax returns at no charge, but understand the regulations

It's free to File returns, but read rules. Why should you pay to fax in state and taxation returns - federal income when you can fax them them for free online? I filed my federal taxation return for twenty nine dollars using TurboTax. But at Virginia Department of Taxation's iFile site, the return was free to submit.

IMPROVE System Efficacies .. In order to Learn more, download free white fax machine paper.

Take on a Unified Approach to Home Address Convergence of Internet Technology and OSS White printer paper

I would have filed both returns using TurboTax. But there was a gotcha at the end of the federal return: The state return, which takes only moments more to complete, would have cost $36.95 more.

Faxing Tax Return tip... if you're going to fax in your tax returns... make sure that you always ensure that all of the fax pages have gone through properly. If they haven't all gone through, you'll have an incomplete return, because it wasn't faxed properly.

Panasonic is aiming at quick-Growth A4 MFP Marketplace

Plans announced by Panasonic System Networks Company of America today to greatly increase its footprint in the growing market for A4 multi-function machines. The A4 market has undergone fast growing and is emerging as the important standard in the fax machine marketplace. As a consequence the A3 market has been declining and will no longer be one of Panasonic's focuses heretofore. Based on inside Panasonic research the A4 market is thought to be dominant by 2012 and make up the majority of imaging devices purchased.

Product Specialist for MFP/Fax Machine Joseph Odore mentioned, the product mix shift is based on Panasonic's long-time commitment to forwardly fulfilling channel friends and end user needs by responding to changes in market dynamics in a fast and precise way.

Leased fax machine numbers - "All the relevant indices printed page volume, and overall sales of new fax equipment -- make it clear that A3 MFPs are already, or very shortly will be a history document format and that A4 MFPs are swiftly becoming the types of equipment that will best serve our clients needs for the beginning of this 2010 and the foreseeable future," Odore said. Small Business can benefit from Online Printing Services

I was asked to do a site review for http://www.psprint.com who does Poster Printing, business cards, stickers, postcards, and more.

I like the idea of online printing for small businesses. Whenever I've dealt with printing companies, I've simply emailed over the pdf file, or the doc or other artwork file.

The company faxes back a proof, or emails back changes to the artwork. So, I haven't needed to visit the local printing company for many years. One of the nice things about online printing companies is that they can offer a nice price for printing as they don't have to carry an expensive store front.

PSPrint.com does online printing which can save you time and money. Use their online templates to design your print job, and /or send them over a artwork file.

They then print out your materials and ship it to you directly. It's convenient and can cost less then dealing with the expensive local print shop.

Try them out with a small print job, and then once you're happy with their service, try them out with bigger and bigger jobs. It's all about the convenience of an online printing service

How To Create A Txt File For Fax Broadcasting

Blog Post Date: Apr 26 2009

How to create a txt file for fax broadcasting

That's what you've got to love about youtube.

There is a video talking about how to build a data list for your favorite fax broadcasting software.

How hard could it be to build a fax data list using mysql, MS Access etc

Company Name, Fax Number
ABC Co, 15065551212
XYZ Co, 17025551212

That's it.

You just have to make sure that you've put commas on the fields if the software asks for it.

Honestly.. this is the cheapest way to communicate with your existing client list. Why pay 45¢ for a stamp and printing when you can just send them a fax!!

Fax Broadcasting Still A Problem Complaints

Blog Post Date: Apr 26 2009

Fax broadcasting still a problem? - Complaints

I found this discussion on google.groups. Is fax broadcasting still a problem in the U.S.?

It appears to be.. I did a search and found several companies that are still selling fax advertising services in the U.S.

It's still amazing to me that people go through the lengths they do to get back at fax broadcasting companies. I think it's mainly because they feel helpless against the fax broadcasting companies. You're going to get faxes it seems unless you unplug your fax machine all the time.

I just received an unsolicited fax advertisements promoting fax.
Not only are these idiots to violate federal law, but are
actively participating in an activity that encourages others to
They also violate the law.

According to The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991
Title 47, Chapter 5, Subchapter II, Section 227, subsection
(b), paragraph (3):

Private right of action: A person or entity may, if otherwise
permitted by the laws or rules of court of a State, which
a court of that State --

(A) an fax broadcasting action based on a violation of this subsection or
regulations prescribed under this subsection to prohibit such
rape,
(B) an action to recover actual monetary loss from such
violation, or receive $ 500 in damages for each violation,
whichever is greater, or
(C) both such actions. If the court finds that the defendant
intentionally or knowingly violated this subsection or the regulations
prescribed in this subsection, the court may, at its discretion,
increase the amount of the award to an amount equal to not more
more than 3 times the amount available under subparagraph (B)
this paragraph.

I think these fax broadcasting idiots must be stopped, and quickly. I
to lodge claims for damages, but do not know how to proceed. If
someone can give me some guidance I would appreciate it.

Is Brand Loyalty and Advertising to Matter? 1993 Advertising Jack Myers

It's interesting the advertising industry is going through a peaks and valley time right at the moment.

With the onset of the internet taking over alot of "eyeball time", and the economy the way it is.

I think it's going to be a time where the strong get stronger and the weak die out. This is a time when good management will shine, and bad management will be appropriately reprimanded.

I always wondered what would happen to all of the leveraged buy outs of the newspapers and Television etc.

According to this story Reports of the newspaper's demise greatly exaggerated In Canada, the country's largest publisher of major metropolitan dailies, Canwest Global Communications, is fighting to restructure its massive debt and avoid seeking bankruptcy protection. Quebecor's SunMedia has shuttered two small weeklies in rural Alberta. A year ago, Transcontinental Publishing shut down the Halifax Daily News.

Canwest leveraged up a great deal. They were doing well when the economy was going well.. Now they're heavily weighted with debt that they're having a touch time servicing. So... they're powerful when times are good, and reaching for bankruptcy lawyers when the economy is bad.

It's becoming more clear to me what happens when advertising companies leverage up like they've done for the last 20 years.

HuffingtonPost Jack Myers Note: Although we believed in 1993 that the dynamics and the realities facing the advertising industry and the media today have been materialized by the end of the last decade, the fundamental truths of my 1993 book Adbashing : Surviving the Attacks on advertising are more relevant and pertinent now. The downsizing of America is underway, finally, with a vengeance. Unfortunately, it may be too late for many who depend on advertising companies to learn and apply these lessons.

Throughout the 1980s, advertising and the media were blinded to their loss of share of total marketing communications for the growing foot size of the ad budgets to support the influx of new investment products, services and businesses.

The number of brands of cars rose from 18 in 1975 to over 40 in 1992, with several sub-brands within each product group. Instead of three to four major brands of shampoo in 1970 (Breck PRELL and controlled over 50% of the market), today there are over 100 brands, including generics. The ad budgets invested in the launch and growth of new products has been the goose laying eggs of thousands of gold for media companies and advertising agencies. In the 1990s, the hen died.

Manufacturers are reducing and consolidating its brands based on brand support of its main products - which are strong and profitable. There are fewer product introductions. New products entering the market receive less support from the media. Marketers rely on trade promotion, consumer direct marketing and sales promotion for the bulk of their marketing activities.

As an industry, advertising should focus on how marketing can improve the ability to establish and maintain brand loyalty. Second, traditional media should offer integrated direct marketing and promotional skills is a core component of your business. Thirdly, the ad industry needs to develop measurements to test the effectiveness of advertising to generate sales and establish brand loyalty.

If the notice is not the industry to achieve these objectives, business investment in advertising in a precipitous decrease over the next five to seven years. As the total marketing budgets decline, the advertising industry to capture a larger share of existing budgets. The growth of the advertising industry can no longer rely on the introduction of new products. In the era of consolidation of the product, the media must stop and reverse the erosion of their share of total marketing spending.

Houma - The Courier took dozens of awards for writing, photography, design and advertising Saturday, won the Newspaper of the Year honors in the annual Press Association Louisiana journalism and advertising awards.

It is the ninth time that the Post has won the Newspaper of the Year title in the last 11 years.

The Mail's sister paper, the Daily Comet in Thibodaux, took nine first prizes, including general excellence, reporting, research and community service.

"I am very happy for our staff," said Keith Magill, The Daily Mail and executive editor of the Comet. "Back-to-back hurricanes tested personally and professionally, and the economic difficulties the newspaper industry has faced a difficult year. The journalists who live and work here rose to each challenge, and the awards they received Saturday are a sign for them and our readers that his work is recognized as excellent. "

The Houma and Thibodaux to compete with daily newspapers in Louisiana that have paid circulations of 10,000 to 25,000 subscribers.

Miles Forrest, editor of The Courier and Daily Comet, was also appointed chairman of the Press during the convention and awards program.

"I'm very proud of the staff, both advertising and news, for his performance during the past year," said Forrest. "The dedication of all staff to make a diary of quality was recognized by our peers in the business, and everyone involved in the newspaper is responsible for our performance in this competition."

Cooperation at all levels contributed to the Courier sweeps awards this year, says Director of Retail Advertising Marian long.

"It is the joint effort of our sales representatives and creativity of our staff working together to meet customer needs and helped us win these awards."

In total, 79 newspapers, publications and college newspapers and university students submitted entries for the 3812 awards announced on Saturday.

"The creativity never ceases to amaze me," said Mark Gray Chief Operating Officer. "You can say that the staff really believe and enjoy what they do."

The future of energy is Solar and Wind. Here is a short video of some solar energy farms around the world. Enjoy

Solar Energy is energy from the Sun. This energy drives the climate and weather and supports virtually all life on Earth. Heat and light from the sun, along with solar-based resources such as wind and wave power, hydroelectricity and biomass, account for most of the available flow of renewable energy.

Solar energy technologies harness the sun's energy for practical ends. These technologies date from the time of the early Greeks, Native Americans and Chinese, who warmed their buildings by orienting them toward the sun. Modern solar technologies provide heating, lighting, electricity and even flight.

Solar power is used synonymously with solar energy or more specifically to refer to the conversion of sunlight into electricity. This can be done either through the photovoltaic effect or by heating a transfer fluid to produce steam to run a generator.

He's doing lead generation via fax broadcasting. Fax broadcasting is when you sent out a bunch of faxes to people to generate leads. You can do this in an easy fashion.

I must caution about doing faxes to generate leads. sometimes it's against the law to send out unsolicited faxes. however, this is something you can research when you get the time.

it's easy to collect fax numbers. you can buy fax numbers online or find them yourself.

How to Get Tons of Website Traffic by Writing Short Articles
by Kyle Farrah

It is necessary for any online entrepreneur to get a large amount of traffic to there website. Online marketers have found many creative ways to generate traffic to there website. These can include pay per click campaigns, email marketing, SEO, and advertising in ezines. There is one method however that is ignored by many online marketers. This method is writing short articles (300-600 words) each, and submitting them to article directories. Allowing them to show up all over the net and allowing you to get many high quality back links, in a short amount of time.

Article marketing can be very helpful in two ways.

a) It will give you relevant links from high pr sites. These links will allow your search engine ranking to be greatly increased, and help you to get a high placement in the major search engines, such as Google and Yahoo.

b) There is a good chance that your article will become the top result for the title that it has. If someone searches for something and they type in the title of your article, your article will probably be the first result that they read. They will read your article and see the link at the end of the page and there is a good chance that they will click on it.

Your article doesn't have to be great it just has to provide the reader with some valuable information, make ezine publishers like it enough to decide to publish it on there site, and get your readers to be interested in the article enough to visit your site by clicking on the link, to your site.

If you are bad at writing, don't worry, there are some simple steps that you can use to make article writing a "piece of cake".

You could try writing a FAQ's section. People love FAQ's and will enjoy reading your article. Just think about some questions about the subject that your writing about. Are there any questions that people often ask? Ask and answer those questions in your article in the form of a Q and A.

Another method is to write tips. Try writing 7 or 10 tips about how to do something. Think about mistakes that people often make while trying to do something and tell them that they shouldn't do that, and explain why not.

You could also try hiring a professional writer to write your articles for you. You could go to elance.com or webmaster forums such as digital point. If you do the later you can usually find some really good deals. If you look hard you can usually get a 500 word article written for $3.00.

Just rephrase and reorder the paragraphs and sentences. This is a lot easier to do than writing an article from scratch. You can also usually get someone to rewrite an article for much cheaper than having them write from scratch.

Once you have finally finished your article(s), it's now time to put them on the web.

Publish your article on ezinearticles.com and include your resource box as well as the other information that the submit form requires.

By using article marketing you can greatly increase your websites visibility. And will greatly help to increase your traffic which will then lead to more sales and more money from online advertising.

How To Sell A Product Online. 3 Steps To Get Started.
by Jeremy Gislason

Online businesses continue to grow. Every day, new merchant start-ups are added to the World Wide Web and successful businesses expand. The internet has literally changed the face of doing business. If you're interested in joining the ranks of individuals who are making money online, here are the three basic steps you'll need to take to get started.

Step. 1. Choose your product. In the world of online sales, there are a number of options for you to choose from.

Sell a product. If you've ever been interested in retail but are not interested in opening up a brick and mortar type store this business is for you! You actually have two ways to go when you sell products you can sell products that you've made like candles, jewelry, Santa letters, costumes, pet treats etc., you can find companies that dropship, or you can become a direct sales consultant.

Direct sales consultants are essentially independent sales people for other companies. They're self employed and generally market their business online and via home based parties. Common direct sales companies include Avon, Shacklee, and Discovery Toys. These are only a few of the hundreds of direct sales opportunities available

Dropshipping means the manufacturer or wholesaler will ship the product directly to your customers upon ordering. Again, the sky is the limit here, you can find just about any type of product you're passionate about and start selling. For example, are you crazy about cooking, there are certainly wholesale companies that cater to the culinary industry.

Selling information. Information marketing is growing by leaps and bounds. It encompasses selling books, online courses, audio books or courses - anything that can be downloaded online can be sold. You can build an information marketing empire around your specific and unique knowledge or a topic that you are interested in. If the idea of creating your own information products is not to your liking, consider purchasing resale rights to books that other people have written or find a ghostwriter to have your products written for you.

Information website. The last type of business that you can open is an information based website. You can develop an entire website devoted to your specialized knowledge or area of interest. Information websites make money selling advertising space and promoting affiliate products. . You can also make good money as an affiliate marketer. This means that if your passion is helping people cope with food allergies and you have favorite food products, cookbooks, and information on the subject you can partner with the manufacturers of these companies to make a commission from any sales you send their way.

Step 2. Build your website. Building your website is a very important step. In fact it is critical. The good news is that it isn't irreversible. If you choose a keyword that doesn't sell, you can change your keywords. The first thing you will want to do, once you've determined what type of online business you're going to open is determine your target audience. Here are a few questions to ask.

How old are they?

How much do they make?

Male or female?

Do they have children?

Are they married or single?

What are their problems as they relate to your product? For example if you're selling patio furniture, what solutions are you providing?

How do they normally shop?

Where do they live?

The next step to building your website is to build a focused site. Using the patio furniture example above, a website could be devoted to patio furniture, teak patio furniture, wrought iron patio furniture, patio furniture care, patio furniture cushions, patio furniture accessories etc...The more focused your website, the easier it is to meet your customer's needs and to make a profit. If you instead try to meet everyone's needs then you'll spread yourself too thin and not meet anyone's needs. This is particularly important because the more you specialize and focus your site, the more you'll be seen as an expert and the results will be profits.

The key to any successful website is to fill it with useful content. Content achieves many things including:

Driving traffic

Encouraging return traffic

Improving your search engine rankings

Offering benefits to your visitors

Selling your product

Establishing your credibility

Generating press

Marketing

The types of content you can create for your website is virtually boundless. You can create articles, reviews, blog postings, ebooks, videos, audios, tutorials, guidebooks, workbooks, online courses, case studies, reports, ezines, etc...

The key to your content and to driving traffic to your website is to optimize your pages. Optimization will include adding title tags and description tags to your web pages. It will also include incorporating your keywords into your online content. Search engine spiders search for this information. As they find it, they use it to establish where you rank when a person searches for your keywords, products, or services.

Step 3. Traffic. The best way to drive the profits of an online business is to drive traffic to your website. Driving traffic in web-speak means getting visitors to visit your website. Here are just a few of the ways you can drive traffic and build your business:

Content. Content as stated in step 2, is a critical element of your copy. One of the hurdles many business owners face is dealing with the time it takes to create copy. This can be overcome by hiring a writer to handle the task. However, it is generally beneficial to include your personal touch to your business and writing some, or all, of your own copy is an excellent way to accomplish this. Back to traffic...how does content increase your traffic? The simplest answer is that the search engines really like to see content on your sites and the more frequently you update your site and add content, the better your search engine ranking will be. As your search engine ranking increases, so too will your visibility and the number of visitors. If you offer quality content, new visitors will become loyal visitors and customers.

Advertising. Pay per click campaigns are a good way to drive targeted traffic to your website. However, online you can also advertise in ezines, blogs, and other people's websites. Offline you can advertise in your yellow pages, flyers, chamber of commerce and more.

SEO. Search engine optimization has three basic elements: optimizing your web pages for keywords or keyword phrases, optimizing your content for keywords and keyword phrases and generating incoming links. There are of course several methods for each of these three elements. The main ingredients for all three are your keywords. Spend time generating, and testing, quality keywords and the rest will fall into place.

Networking, offline and online. Networking is worth its weight in gold. Meet and connect with the right person and your company's profits could sky rocket. Networking can be accomplished online with networking groups, mastermind groups, forums, chat rooms and blogs. Offline, networking with your local business organizations and associations that are relevant to your business will prove invaluable.

Email and direct marketing campaigns. Marketing campaigns can be excellent tools to not only promote a product but to also promote awareness of your company's products and drive traffic to your website.

There are many important steps along the way to selling products online and when you understand the steps involved, your job becomes a lot easier and your profits are only a few steps away.

The Best Marketers Find The Best Marketing Network
by Dustin Heath Cannon

For the most party there is little loyalty among network marketers and stability in the field, as well as the vast numbers of new opportunities that are born every day is what makes the field so competitive and open for new people in this industry. For the most part, many will join a network marketing plan for a few weeks or maybe months and then move on to a different plan that offers better income opportunities.

When these desertions happen, it affects everyone in their upline as well as a few in their downline and can lead to negative comments about the company being posted on a global platform. However, the best internet marketers can easily recognize a good product and a good network and are willing to devote the time and effort needed to make their new job lucrative. They are also more hesitant to jump to a different ship, even when sales begin to falter.

Many major companies have successfully used network marketing to build a strong following and counted on the perception of exclusivity to add demand for their products. After all, if it was available at retailers then anyone could buy it. Making it available through an exclusive distributorship, even at a higher price, increases the demand for the product. Multilevel marketing has been around for a long time and will probably continue for the foreseeable future.

It is no secret that those who get into a marketing network on the ground floor have the best opportunity to make the most money. They can end up with more distributors working under them and a sustainable marketing plan can continue to achieve sales even with similar and cheaper products hitting the market.

To help them identify the best marketing network the best marketers will look at consumer trends and the products on the market that are already meeting their needs. Simply changing packaging or sizes does not always draw more sales and if a market is already saturated with a particular product, the best marketer will continue searching. Finding a stable company looking to introduce a new product with little or no competition offers the best marketing network opportunity and the best marketers will jump on board in a hurry.

Internet marketing takes a lot of time and effort and knowing where to look to be able to spot the next best thing to hit the consumer market. Niche markets are often good for a short run, but for extended success products with side consumer appeal will stick around longer and sales will be more consistent. Additionally, selling a product that will only be replaced once or twice in an individual's lifetime are not the type good marketing experts race to join.

One of the best marketing network opportunities to come down the pike in recent years is probably printer cartridges. With the sheer numbers of printers being sold everyday, people will need new ink cartridges. Finding the right distribution company in the beginning of the printer craze made a lot of people a lot of money. Those who recognized the trend may have formed their own network from the ground up, and can now sit back and let it run on its own.

Growing Importance Of Promotional Pens

Blog Post Date: Nov 14 2007
Growing Importance of Promotional Pens
by Gareth Parkin

Promotional items have been in use for a long time now. In fact they have been in use since the time the concept of buying and selling came into place. Promotional items have always been in the scene in some form or the other. But today the term “promotional items†has grown beyond bounds. It encompasses a vast plethora of items like promotional caps, t-shirts, mugs, mouse mats, desktop items, and many more. The list is simply endless. Amidst this ocean of promotional items there is one promotional item that has always been a part of the most popular category i.e. promotional pens. Promotional pens stand for an item that has been in use since times immemorial. Its simplicity, and utility coupled with the cheap price at which it comes makes it one of the best promotional items ever.

The promotional pen has today come a long way from being the simple plastic ballpoint pen to the elegantly crafted metallic pen that reflects great style and attitude. Despite promotional pens being in use for a long time, it is only in the recent times that it has witnessed a great deal of importance coming its way. This is simply because people are now realising the benefits that can be served by promotional pens. These benefits range from creating brand awareness to enticing new customers for your business. The promotional pen has always been underestimated as a simple writing instrument that is just meant to serve its purpose. But now there is a common realisation of the fact that the strength of this promotional pen lies in its simplicity itself.

The cheap nature of promotional pens that is contrary to expensive conventional advertising is another reason for its growing importance. Advertising because of the cutthroat competition becomes all the more essential. But because of its expensive nature it cannot be deployed by every organisation. Thus small-scale businesses are left with promotional pens as their last resort. They are not so popular just because they are cheap but also because they are extremely effective at endorsing your message. Where other promotional tools fizz out in a little time, this simplistic item keeps you upfront for years to come. The importance of promotional pens is bound to grow manifold when it has so much to offer as compared to other forms of advertising. These are just some of the reasons that are responsible for the growing importance of promotional pens. And for the vast plethora of benefits that they serve they will continue to get much more importance. For any related information or queries feel free to visit us at www.ideasbynet.com.

4 Tips For Powerful Search Engine Optimization by John Reed

There has been much written about search engine optimization, as well it should. Search engine optimization is very important if you want to be ranked high in the search engines.

The only problem with search engine optimization is that search engines are forced to change what they consider optimized regularly due to misuse of the various techniques over time. There are individuals that seek to trick the search engines into given them more traffic than their content deserves. They do this by loading high search volume, irrelevant keywords into their content. This is getting harder to do successfully as search engines have begun cracking down on such tactics and the websites that employ them.

Cheating in search engine optimization has been the case and will always be the case and search engines will battle to squash the offenders. There are however, ways to optimize your website without falling into the whole getting banned from search engines scenario. Check out these four tips.

Tip Number One Determine the most searched word that applies to your offering. What are the keywords your potential customers are using to search for your service or product? There are reasonably priced Keyword Analyzer programs that will tell you. Get the software and use it.

Tip Number Two Stay on topic when writing your content. Utilize relevant keywords in your content. I cant stress this enough. Remember the search engines are waging an all out war on websites that stuff their content with irrelevant words in an effort to fool their way to the top of searches. You could get your website banned from search engines if you employ deceptive search engine optimization tactics. Keep that in mind and avoid using such tactics. They may get you a little attention early on, but it will be short lived and costly.

Tip Number Three Use Error Marketing to clean up your website. Well-written websites sell and hold the attention of a visitor longer. If your website is riddled with errors such as misspelled words and lack of clarity, it makes visitors feel that you arent professional. When that happens 9 out of 10 readers leave the website earlier and never return. By applying the techniques of Error Marketing, even the lowest budgeted webmaster can have a spotless and error free website. You can learn more about error marketing at ErrorMarketing dot com.

Tip Number Four Always place your most valued keyword within the first 2 sentences of your copy. Also, ensure that your keywords appear in the hot spots where the search engines look.

Use your primary keyword in your copy, your meta-tag keywords, in paragraph headers, and name your website graphic file names something like yourchosenkeyword.jpg. Also, avoid having so many graphics on your website if possible. Remember, search engines cant read graphics. When these tactics are combined with well-written copy, these can go a long way into getting you the positioning your page deserve and the valued back links that zoom you to the top of the search engine rankings.

Finally - A Top Secret Way You Can Get keywords

by Dennis Azzarello

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an "oversight" on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his "secret" is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the "inside" at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it."

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children's toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses "I've actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for ... and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines ... all of which I got for free ..."

So powerful is his secret that he's able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved. Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines. One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret "Wow! Ha! This is really unique ... and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!"

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years' period of time since applying his secret he's done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really "buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential."

Now to everyone else's fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he's not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says "We'll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things."

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret "he's already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it's still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this."

It is currently available at:

FreeGoogle

...so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It's in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you're there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

Using Fax Broadcasting To Generate Dozens Of Leads And Appointments For Your Business

Fax broadcasting is one of the most underused POWER Marketing Tools I come across.

Very few people appreciate the benefits of fax broadcasting. In fact most business owners shy away from using this marketing tool because of the negative feelings it can bring (or they assume it can bring!).

However, when it's done right - you'll surprise yourself at the results it generates.

Here are the secrets behind successful fax broadcasting...

1. There are three successful formats for your fax broadcasting...
Three column editorial style - this is characterised by a benefit written headline across the top of the fax and three columns of text. This is my preferred approach, mainly because you can cram more information in.

Sales letter - use the principles of successful sales letter writing and apply it to your fax (no more than 2 pages though!).

Hand written personalised look

2. Like always, your headline is the key to a successful response.

3. Choose two of your most appealing headlines.

4. Test your top two headlines. I would suggest a test volume of no more than 5,000. This means you can test one headline against the other with 2,500 each.

5. ALWAYS give people an option to be taken off your list. Just write the following across the bottom of your fax...

"If you wish to have your fax number removed - please fax your request to XXXXX."

6. The fax numbers you use MUST be checked against the Faxing Preference Service List (UK) or other fax legislation depending on which country or State you work in.

7. You can either send the faxes yourself with fax software, or more simply use a fax broadcasting service. To find one near you simply carry out an Internet search on 'Fax Broadcast Services.' There are many fax broadcasting services around - many of which are listed on the Internet.

8. Good times to send your faxes are between 11am and 3pm, but test the 'off-peak' times such as weekends and evenings. Your cost will be less, but in my experience response tails off too much. Nevertheless it's definitely worth a quick test.

9. Get ready for the response. Typically you can expect to receive from 0.5% to 5% using this approach. Even at the lower end you could achieve substantial profit from using fax broadcasting.

Don't forget when you use fax broadcast your overheads are reduced dramatically - no postage, no printing, and no set up cost.

Fax broadcasting is one of the real "gems" of POWER Marketing. It's extremely quick and very cheap to carry out a fax broadcast campaign. As long as you adhere to the local and national fax broadcasting laws you'll be fine.

Incidentally using a fax broadcast service will ensure your campaign runs within the laws, which in itself is a good enough reason to use a fax broadcast service.

You really will be surprised at the results fax broadcasting will achieve for you and your business. Go for it. Or as Nike say "Just Do It!" To find out how to create a successful fax broadcasting campaign please click here.

Old School Tips to Make Your Viral Marketing a Success
By: D.A. Campbell

In 1999, three young movie makers released a low budget film that by all rights should have disappeared quickly or at least wound up in the bargain bin at your local department store. Instead, the Blair Witch Project has been labeled a classic while grossing over 240 million dollars worldwide. So why did this film succeed when other low budget movies of various caliber have failed? Of course you have to credit the filmmakers for coming up with an inventive storyline but more than anything the bulk of the praise goes to the ingenious viral marketing campaign unleashed by the Lion's Gate movie studio.

Eight years ago, using the internet to promote a film was quite revolutionary. Since then online word of mouth has not only become standard operating procedure but also has been taken to the next level thanks to the emergence of new technologies and information appearing almost daily. However there are still some old school tips you should consider using to make your viral marketing work.

1. Give It Away

This is a centuries old technique. A new business creates a buzz by giving away free samples of their product or service. On the internet, nobody exploited this method better than Hotmail. By giving away free email accounts while using various word of mouth networks, Hotmail grew to over 12 million subscribers in less than 2 years. A short time later, Microsoft came knocking and bought Hotmail for an estimated 400 million dollars.

Now no one is saying that a big conglomerate will show up at your door ready to hand you a blank check but the power of the giveaway cannot be overstated. If people feel you are giving them a quality product or information, they will be more likely to spread the word about your business.

2. Make It Small

In the latter part of the 19th century, Montgomery's Ward was the king of the mail order catalogs. The arrival of this massive volume of tools and products was a major event in many American households. So how did Sears and Roebuck, a late entry into the mail order game, eventually rival and then surpass Montgomery's Ward? Among the many brilliant ideas implemented by Richard Sears was the smaller catalog. Volume wise it remained just as thick as Montgomery's Ward but as Sears explained when you place the two catalogs on your coffee table, you will almost always stack the smaller on top of the larger. In other words his directory would be the first one you reached for. The Sears catalog also proved to be much more portable.

Most of the innovations since that time have been about making something smaller and faster. The computer as an example went from warehouse size to personal pc to laptop to handheld. You can do the same for instance using small reports of five to ten pages packed with information instead of mega volume ebooks. People don't have the time (or patience) to sift through a huge ebook. Instead break into smaller easily digestible chunks, that people can get thru quickly, then share with others.

3. The Promise

Richard Sears also came up with the slogan that has impacted businesses worldwide from its inception: Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Naturally, Sears didn't want to give money back but what he did by making this promise was to put his integrity as well as the company's front and center. In essence, Sears was daring the consumer not to like the product. It worked and many businesses followed his lead but more importantly, the slogan created a buzz.

You can do the same for your online viral marketing campaign. The key is to not over do it. Making unrealistic promises about your products or service is a recipe for disaster. People will see right thru it and potentially spread the word in ways you do not want. Negative publicity in some cases maybe better than no publicity at all, however if you are just starting out online, the last thing you want is to create a buzz that hurts your business, so keep it real.

Viral marketing can be used in many ways to increase web site traffic, sales and get your name out there. New innovations such as video and social bookmarking are making it even easier but don't let the latest tool replace what has worked for years and years. Combine the old with the new to build your own successful viral marketing campaigns.

Advertising Online - The Most Effective To The Least by Lynn Quario

Advertising online is a wonderful way to attract a large audience. It is also less expensive compared to traditional advertising methods. There are many different advertising strategies you can use to generate traffic to your website. I use a number of these myself because I believe in diversification.

Pay Per Click

This is the fastest way to generate traffic to your website. You can literally place an ad using Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing and start receiving visitors within minutes. This form of advertising can also be costly for a beginner who is new to advertising online. Adwords has an excellent tutorial on learning how to bid on keywords. Pay per click is by far, the most favorable method of advertising for the majority of online advertisers.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

This is where internet marketers strive to get their website listed on the first page of Google or Yahoo. It is every marketers dream because this is truly the best free advertising you can get. The flip side is it can take many months to get that kind of placement. You have to put in a lot of time and effort into building your website pages around keywords that rank high in the search engines. Definitely consider this method for a long term strategy.

Writing Articles

Writing articles is an excellent way to start ranking your website high in the search engines. Articles can be used as a short strategy as well as long term. What happens is you write an article and submit it to one of the article directories and that article then gets picked up by other website owners who must leave your resource information intact. This creates a viral effect that spreads all across the internet. Before you know it you will have visitors coming in droves to your website. The one thing all great internet marketers have in common is they all write articles. The most popular article directories are Ezinearticles, Goarticles, and Articlealley. Even though there are thousands of article directory sites these are the only ones I submit to.

Solo Ads

Solo ads are paid ads you place with ezine advertisers. These ads are sent out to the ezine owners entire mailing list exclusively. What this means is your ad is sent out seperatly as a stand alone ad and is not included in the ezine newsletter where there are many other competitors. The cost of a solo ad can range anywhere from $10 to $2500 depending on the size and responsiveness of the list. You definitely want to incorporate this method into your online advertising.

Forums and Message Boards

This method is also a terrific way to generate website traffic. You just have to be careful not to spam them. By providing useful information to others you get to promote your website link through a signature file. Most of them do not allow commercial or affiliate links in the post itself. So don't do it or you will have a lot of angry people and you will probably get banned from the forum. Forum posts also get indexed by the search engines so this can also be a long term strategy as well as short term. Like articles your posts will stay online indefinitely.

Free Classifieds

I like to use free classifieds simply because it is free. This method doesn't produce a whole lot of traffic but is an excellent way to get your website link out there and only takes minutes to place an ad on them once you are registered and have them all set up. Some of them will allow you to post daily while others only let you post once a month, so you want to read their terms or they will ban you also. I know I have been banned from a couple of them because I didn't read their terms of use. I like this method because it doesn't require a lot of my time to place the ads and you never know who your next prospects going to be. You may receive some spam from this method. I receive emails all of the time from different people with this same message "I am requesting more info on your home business and how it works. What investment is required? Look forward to hearing more." I have to laugh at this because all of the information is on the site or they can get it by filling out a form. I replied to the first one because I thought they were really interested in my business. It turns out they weren't interested at all, it was just a way for them to spam me and look legit, I guess. I hit the delete button on them now.

Groups

Google, Yahoo, and MSN all have groups that you can join. Search for groups that pertains to what you are promoting and join in. There are thousands of them. One recommendation I would like to make is, make sure you check the box to read messages online or you will also get bombarded with tons of emails. I receive many visitors from posting my ads to groups.

Safelists

Be prepared with this method as you will get hundreds of email messages daily. You have to supply them with two email addresses that have to be confirmed. I recommend not using your personal email addresses for these. Safelists allow you to send messages to other members in exchange for them being able to send messages to you. They offer free and paid memberships. Even though I am a member of quite a few of them, it is one of my least favorable methods for advertising online.

Traffic Exchanges

You will get tons of traffic using this method most of which is not targeted. With traffic exchanges you view other peoples websites in exchange for them viewing yours. Marketers call this surfing for credits because you have to spend anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 seconds on each site before going on to the next site. I tried this method for about a month spending 2 hours a day surfing with no results. This is the least popular method and a waste of time as far as I am concerned. I would rather spend that time more productively. I probably shouldn't have mentioned this one but thought It was worth mentioning because there are many marketers who do use them.

Once you start implementing these online advertising methods you will be well on your way to writing your own paycheck and living the life of your dreams. I know what it feels like to be a struggling marketer because I have been there. I wish for everyone who reads this article true financial freedom.

Reciprocal Blog Commenting?

Blog Post Date: Dec 24 2006
Blog commenting - high quality links

I just signed up for this..
If you blog and want more people to share comments with on your blog, this may be a good source for you.
Reciprocal Commenting on blogs?

Reciprocal Linking- Reciprocal Blog Commenting

Lately I've been doing some cold calling on blogs to see if there are any other bloggers who want to "trade comments". Sometimes in the financial industry, life insurance and death are not something that other bloggers are generally attracted to.

However, there is some value in reciprocal commenting. Even though I know that people read my blog, they rarely leave comments. I don't blame them.

What I've been doing for the last few days is start looking for life insurance bloggers and related industry bloggers who may be interested in trading comments. IE. Reciprocal Blog Comments

Who ever blogs knows that if you've got a blog with a column full of (0 comments) won't attract other comments. Blogs with lots of comments usually attract more comments.

I've heard bloggers who "seed" their own blog with comments just to give the appearance that they've got a busy blog. While this is an easy solution in the short term, it's usually hard to maintain a conversation with yourself.

The best types of blog comments are those which are genuine. Different bloggers have different experiences and training which will help them give
different and valuable insites and comments about subjects.

I am thinking about developing a reciprocal blog comment exchange on my http://www.high-quality-links.com site.

If you're interested in doing reciprocal blog commenting.. leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

I am interested in reciprocal blog comment with other bloggers in the following topics:
  • Life Insurance and related industries
  • Canadian Money blogging
  • Internet advertising - for this blog.

I love viral marketing as a form of good quality - cost effective marketing.

(Please Tick me on tickme.com)
TickMe Banner

TickMe.com is yet another social networking site. It's another aggregation of people who know each other and share their same groups, ideas etc. It's also a great way for tickme.com to generate free links back to it's site, as I'm doing in this example.

So.. please do tickme!

More viral marketing and name mentioning
Today while visiting the WebmasterRadio.fm chat area, of which I do daily, sixty6 asked for sites that he could tag to.

I said sure... and gave him the url to my site.

I went to his blog and lo and behold he's got a bunch of links out to people in the industry who have undoubtedly come by to see his blog and... where he's linked to them.

Some other familiar faces who hang out at WMR.fm who are listed on his blog are:

I noticed that sixty6 was subscribed to MyBlogLog.com which is another social networking site. I saw that Caydel was a member also.

I spent some time clicking around on mybloglog and noticed that DannySullivan, ShandyKing, TechLH, jasonbartholeme.

This is a nice lesson in viral marketing and social networking. The beauty of the SEO community is that there are many people who know each other. Blogger love to blog and talk about their friends. People involved in the SEO community love to do the same.

It was really nice for sixty6 to offer to tag my site, it allowed me to visit some of the blogs and sites of people that I visit with each day over at WMR.fm.

That's nice viral marketing. It's pleasurable marketing. I didn't experience any pain while I went and visited these friends websites!

Best wishes to all of the folks at mybloglog and all of the people who are social networking over there!

Generating links for your site. Inbound links
I've been agonizing lately on how to develop good quality inbound links to my sites. I've been searching for answers all over sites such as Search Engine Forums, Digital Point Forums, WebMasterRadio.fm and more.

Fundamentally, the web is all about linking out, and getting links back from other sites. It's really nice to have Google.com link to you, and Yahoo.com. It's probably more important to have thousands of related sites linking back to you.

In bound links are like word of mouth marketing. These are the best and most credible referrals of all. When a webmaster thinks enough about your site to link back to you, that's a huge vote of confidence for your site.

I wrote a post over on Search Engine Forums - Link Building as follows:
Hats off to excell and SportsGuy!

My exercise yesterday was to create a small campaign where I write about an important topic for our industry. I'll be honest, I had been having mental blocks about what to write as I don't have a clue about the details of what those suppliers do.

THE KEY:
I called each and every supplier before I emailed them my questions about my topics. They're experts in their fields. They know what they're doing.

Most were interested in receiving my email, and the fellow that wasn't interested gave me the answers verbally over the phone. I learned more in that little phone call than I had known previously.

Side benefit: All of a sudden I had a ton of new ideas to write about for my website.

After I compile all of the information that I've gotten from my phone call and email research, I'm going to have a strong article on the subject that i'm writing about. (This is where the links come in)

Because I've taken the time to write a thorough article about this subject, NOW I'll be able to go to those related industry sites and tell them about my valuable information. At this point they'll probably be much more likely to link over to my site, one way.

I couldn't see it before. I would write good quality articles, however I didn't feel confident enough in promoting them to other sites. With this type of solid research and credibility, it will be no problem to solicit links from other credible sites in related fields.

Side Note: In order to do this successfully, you have to have the mindset of an expert, which has its pros and cons. I don't mind putting myself out into the light as the expert type. This type of activity is certainly not for everybody!

In the last few days I have been building some campaigns around important topics where I will be interviewing industry sources.

I have been phone calling the sources that I find on the web and letting them know I've got an email with some simple questions that they can answer to help out with my article.

So far the response has been wonderful. I can see good quality inbound links happening after I generate some quantity of these articles.

The process isn't so agonizing now that i understand the concept of generating professional, industry respected, high quality content. This content needs to be of the quality that could be used by journalists, reporters and industry insiders.

You can do the same thing with your websites. all it takes is alot of work and determination that you want to be an expert and a central figure in your industry. That's a tall order, however that is really the intent you need to have.

People will freely inbound link to your site when they respect you and what you have to say. If they find your information helpful and valuable they will link to you out of gratitude and to add value to their website. People always want to refer people who give others good value.

I did a search for the Panasonic KX-FLB802CX model and came up with the listed url. I didn't spend a great deal of time looking however, I couldn't find any fax machines that had the junk fax feature on the panasonic site. I'm curious to know how a fax machine can block out junk faxes that are sent to it.

Does this fax machine have a database of all of the fax senders CSID's? Or do you have to continuously enter in fax numbers of fax senders as you get them?

Commercial Building For Sale Or Lease

Blog Post Date: Dec 02 2006
I went looking on the internet for how people are advertising their commercial buildings for sale or lease.

I found many buildings in Canada for sale or lease. However many of these building sellers aren't website marketers. I think that commercial buildings could do a better job at marketing on the internet.

I'm going to spend a little more time looking around the Canadian websites to see if there is viral marketing, SEO, or anything else that commercial building sellers are doing.

2003 Cadillac CTSCadillac is a product that is big on word of mouth marketing. Cadillac not a green energy product however much of its marketing is.

I purchased a 2003 Cadillac CTS Sport in 2003 because I saw the TV ads and wanted to own a nice prestige vehicle. I learned alot about advertising when as soon as I started to drive the car.

People liked to talk about the car. The Cadillac CTS turned heads. People treated me differently when I got out of my car. (My previous car was a 2001 Saturn.

As far as advertising goes, Cadillac does a very nice job. There aren't many products on the market that have the same viral marketing appeal as Cadillac and as well the history of the product.

I did a search for green advertising or environmentally friendly advertising campaigns in the news. Below is what I found.

I like the idea where marketers use green alternatives to market their products and services. Riding around on a bicycle and generating word of mouth for a product or service is a unique and green way to advertise something.

It reminds of all of the walks that non-profits do to raise money for their foundations. " Walk for Breast Cancer", " Walk for Hunger" etc. Walking is a good way to get personally involved in the cause and raise money and awareness. It's also a form of green advertising.

Manchester's sexy cycling campaign wins Green Award
An eco-campaign to get Manchester's car commuters to ditch four wheels in favour of two has won first prize at the Green Awards.

The 'Love Your Bike' campaign was created by Manchester ethical communications agency, Creative Concern, for Friends of the Earth and Manchester City Council.

Love Your Bike raised public awareness of cycling to reduce carbon emissions, noise and pollution levels as well as peak time traffic congestion in the city centre.

The award for Best Integrated Campaign under ?100,000 was presented to Manchester Friends of the Earth at the Guildhall in London.

I absolutely love these news items on Business friendly advertising.

I love the idea of an environmentally conscious business getting word of mouth - "green advertising" for their environmentally friendly hiking boots.

WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING - THE OLDEST KIND
When you look at it, word of mouth advertising is the oldest kind of advertising. From the time of the cave man until today. Talking to people , giving and getting referrals is the greenest and most friendly of advertising types.

It's like the old It was like the Faberg? Organics shampoo commercial: "You tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, and so on and so on.".

"Telling two friends" is the most cost effective type of advertising. It's also the most environmentally friendly type of advertising. Word of mouth was alot easier before the advertising and manufacturing revolution of the last 100 years. Nowadays you have to hammer your message as loud as possible in order to get a little attention.

In the old days when advertising was quieter and there were less product and service options to choose from, people actually talked to each other. New product offerings didn't come along as often and so when they did, they caused some discussion. If you put a product in the corner store, it would get noticed because it created natural curiosity.

Scarcity of products was also an issue. In the 70's I would see Christmas ads on the television. Some would say, "get these products before they run out of supply." Supply of product was actually an issue many years ago. Because companies were smaller and had limited credit, they could only produce so many products.

That is a huge contrast to today where the huge multinationals have enough money and resources to manufacturer as many products as we need. Imagine walking into Walmart and them running out of product. I haven't seen that in years.

There is more than enough products in more than enough stores, with more than enough credit, and more than enough advertising. Where is the curiousity in that.?! Where is the word of mouth generators in that?

It's refreshing when you can get a product that is so thrilling and wonderful and wholesome that it generates word of mouth advertising, sheerly because of it's benefits.

Green advertising is ultimately about word of mouth. But, can you live on word of mouth advertising in this highly mechanized , internet saturated era?

Environmentally Friendly Advertising?

Usually I like to rant about fax broadcasting and junk faxes etc. I like to rant about fax broadcasting and junk faxes because I think it's totally stupid when people complain about them like they were the end of the world.

environmentally friendly advertisingI am all for advertising. I love advertising. Advertising is what makes the world go around.

Advertising in this day and age is not very environmentally friendly on many aspects. Aside from being resource wasters like paper for junk faxes, newspapers, fliers etc, advertising promotes industries which pollute the environment.

ADVERTISING POLLUTES THE ENVIRONMENT.
Let's face it, the economy is on steroids, in comparison to how it worked 100 years ago. The machinery of the economy is so strong and well built that it pushes things along very well.

Advertising fuels the economy by promoting products and services to consumers and the corporate world. Take away the advertising and you cut down on global warming. That's a little oversimplified, but I do like the concept.

environmentally friendly advertisingPeople who complain about junk faxes and fax broadcasting, don't really complain about how all types of advertising and media harm the environment. The effects of industrial waste and pollution far out weighs the small effects of fax broadcasting. Because people don't get irritated directly from industrial waste, they don't complain about it.

I have often asked the question: What would happen if the U.S. stopped advertising for 7 days? 1 week with no advertisements of any sort. How much would that affect the environment. How many trees would that save? How much industrial pollutants would that stop from being blown into the air?

People who receive junk faxes from fax broadcasting companies get mad and sue the fax broadcasters. Why don't these same people sue the news paper companies, printing companies etc for polluting the environment and causing much greater environmental damage.?!!

THE AGE OF JUNK FAX CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT?
Junk fax law suitWhat is this world coming to?
Law suits, and class action law suits regarding, "Junk Faxes". Unbelievable. This is the litigious nature of the American Population. Sue the crap out of everyone. Sue them for sending you a fax. Get a class action law suit against a fax broadcaster.

What are these people thinking about?
Perry Johnson, Inc who was probably trying to drum up some business by sending out a fax broadcasting has had to suffer because some class action lawyer wants to get a piece of their hide.

Junk fax class action law suitWho makes the money here when you sue a fax broadcasting company?
The lawyers make ALL the money when you get into a class action law suit. The defending company has to get some legal help to defend the case. Lawyers cost between $250 and $500 per hour to defend these cases which are not a light affair. All for sending out a fax to a company promoting your business.

I think this directly speaks to the immoral, litigious nature of the american population. These people are cannabilizing corporate America. They are making everybody afraid to do anything for fear of being sued.

Junk fax law suitTHE TRUTH ABOUT SUING FAX BROADCASTING COMPANIES AND COMPANIES THAT SEND OUT JUNK FAXES
The lawyers make the money. They are profit oriented. They want to make money. That is their motive. They don't necessarily want to help out the plaintiffs. They want to settle with the insurance companies who have liability insurance. They want to take their 35% contingency fee and then run.

The innocent company sending out the faxes promoting their product and service are stuck with $thousands of dollars of legal bills. All for sending out a fax to start to develop a relationship with a customer.

Marketing and promotions is the essence of the American Market place. American Companies pride themselves on marketing and branding the day lights out of absolutely everything.

These companies have marketed themselves into moral bankruptcy, and they're complaining about innocent companies sending out a 1 page fax to a fax list.

THE LAWYERS MAKE THE JUNK FAX MONEY
Lawyers make the money with junk fax law suitsThe lawyers are making the money and leaving corporate corpses lying in the ditch. As long as the lawyers get paid to sue the fax broadcasting companies this hurtful activity will continue.

I say that people should not sue fax broadcasting companies. Call them and scream at them for the inconvenience. Don't set up a class action suit against an innocent company. The class action suit may force the company to close its doors and lay off its employees.

That is bad for the economy.

When I hear about class action law suits and fax broadcasting company s I absolutely cringe to think about it. The lawyers are smiling all the way to the bank.

Automated political calls should be added to no-call law
Currently political calls are not covered under the TCPA act because they're not soliciting business.

In my opinion, calls are calls. automated political phone calls that soliciting support for a politic party. They are junk phone calls. Junk political phone calls.

I don't know why political parties should have any special favoritism. They bother people at the dinner table, just as well as junk faxes from fax broadcasting companies.

TIRED OF JUNK FAXES, FAX BROADCASTING, JUNK MAIL?
newspapers waste trees kill environment
Many people complain about junk faxes and the fact that they waste their phone time, fax toner etc. That's nothing compared to how many trees are destroyed in the name of junk print fliers, business promotion fliers, newspaper ads, hand outs etc.

Environmentally speaking junk faxes are really a small part of the problem.

Newspapers and newspaper ads consume millions and millions of pounds of natural wood each month.

Here's a solution to not receiving junk (fax) mail.
If you don't want to receive mail that comes through your mail box, or by mail man (woman) call up the postal service and ask them to discontinue bringing you mail that is unaddressed.

The U.S. postal service / Canadian Postal Service are required to bring you mail that is addressed, as they can't tell if it's junk mail or not.

Stop your newspaper subscription, or at least request that they don't put fliers in your newspaper. I believe that newspapers are a waste of paper as most goes unread, and then gets thrown in the garbage.

junk faxes kill treesIf you're really concerned about stopping junk faxes, fliers etc, contact your local government agencies and ask them if there are laws related to receiving junk faxes and fliers. Ask them if there is a set way to STOP receiving these paper wasting ads with certainty.

HOWEVER, if you don't really want to stop receiving junk faxes from fax broadcasting companies, and paper flier advertisements from newspapers, postal distributors etc, stop complaining about it!

I did a search for junk fax complaining blogs and found the following:
junk fax hater
junk fax laws
tcpa total crap fax law
fax laws are impossible to regulate
problems with junk fax
junk fax rhymer
Innocent Professionals junk fax

It never ceases to amaze me how much people can complain about fax broadcasting and junk faxes. If you read these articles, you'll find out how some of these people are just plain retaliatory and litigious.

Some people go ballistic over receiving a fax that costs them 2.5? or less. For heaven sake, if you're worried about 2.5?, you should not have a fax machine.

I wonder how many people have the same problems with incoming print fliers which are even more costly and time consuming. Do they ever complain about those?

Give me a break people!

It's interesting how governments try to govern things like fax broadcasting, just faxing etc.

When you get down to the intent of it, it's really hard to prove that somebody sent a junk fax to a company.

Here's a junk fax ?? scenario:
You're in business and you want to prospect a business to sell them some of your products and services. You've been trained over the years to send out some preliminary information to the prospect before contacting them so that they have a better chance of knowing who you are.

You want to make your initial phone contact one that counts. You don't want to contact the prospect, whom you don't really know, to bother him/her with a request to send over a fax. You want your discussion to start with your products and not if you can send over introductory material.

You take the initiative to look up the company's fax number in the phone directory. You then send over your preliminary fax document to your desired prospect with the intentions to contact them in the next few hours.

YOUR PROSPECT CAN SUE YOU?
According to the TCPA and probably the California Law mentioned below, you have just broken the law civilly and can be fined up to $1500 per instance. This action of innocent "junk fax" prospecting can turn in a small court matter, technically.

IT'S COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS
As long as fax machines have existed, sales people , marketing people of all types have used this method of fax marketing. Sending out a preliminary fax advertisement to a prospective client to make them aware of their product. All of these people are breaking the law however because they are sending "unsolicited faxes".

What would happen to sales departments / marketing departments if they had to get written permission to send faxes to their prospects?

WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT DOING ABOUT IT?
Assuming there are several thousand of these single junk fax infractions taking place each day, what is the Federal government doing about it? What is the Government of California doing about it?

The better questions are:

  1. ) What can they do about it?
  2. ) How can the regulators of junk faxers find all of these sales and marketing professionals who are innocently breaking the law, and prosecute all of them.?
  3. ) Is it practical to do prosecute all of these junk fax broadcasters? NO!!

The person who sends out a single junk fax is just as guilty as the person who sends out multiple junk faxes or a fax broadcast. Yet, the federal and state governments completely over look the single junk fax offenders. IMO the single junk fax offenders probably make up a good portion of the paper wasted each day on companies fax machines.

That's why I find it ridiculous that there are junk fax laws in the first place. Businesses have fax machines to receive offers, invoices, communications of all types etc. They also have fax machines to send out offers, invoices, and communications of all types.

If you don't want to receive junk faxes from fax broadcasts, don't publish your fax number in the first place. Better yet... put your fax machine in a closet somewhere.

We get quite a few visitors looking for FREE FAX BROADCASTING, FREE FAX LISTS AND FREE FAX ADVERTISING.

While there is nothing free in this world, there are a few ways to obtain free fax numbers, fax lists, and send out free faxes all over the world.

GETTING FREE FAX NUMBERS.
There are a few ways you can get free fax numbers. We started our fax business in 1992 by typing in fax numbers straight out of the phone book and different business directories. It's back breaking work, however, I managed to get several thousand fax numbers that were listed in the phone directory. My logic with getting phone numbers from the phone book is this: If a business is listing their fax number that publicly, they shouldn't have a problem with you sending them different types of ads, notices and communications.

Another way to get FREE FAX NUMBERS and fax lists is to write a spider program that scrapes websites where fax numbers are listed. This is a little more complex, however it is doable.
Click this link to see websites with Fax Numbers listed on their site:

It is my belief that if companies list their fax number on their website which is displayed publicly to people all over the world , they shouldn't be opposed to receiving fax ads , notices etc about your business, non-profit, political campaign etc.

GETTING FREE FAX BROADCASTING
There is equipment which allows you to send out fax broadcasts over the internet for FREE. It's called FOIP, or fax over IP. While the equipment costs a few hundred dollars, the long distance itself is free because it's sent over the internet.

If you can take the time to do the data entry, and programming you can get free fax numbers and fax lists. If you can invest a few hundred dollars in FOIP equipment, fax over IP equipment, you'll get free or very low cost fax broadcasting with little or no long distance charges.

Junk Fax - Challengers Take On Huebsch

Blog Post Date: Nov 09 2006
Fax equipment seems to get more and more complex. I was looking at these articles from Yahoo.com when doing a search on fax broadcasting equipment.

Digital Faxing from Samsung seems to get more and more automated.

I found this article: Feeling overwhelmed by faxes

I love that new terminology: Fax-o-rrhea.. Hilarious.

When our practice's fax machine, once a symbol of office efficiency, recently turned into a practice-choking monster, we had to act. What started as a trickle of patient-specific faxes had expanded over the years into a flood of paper.

To fight the resulting administrative condition, which I diagnosed as "fax-o-rrhea," our office used a mix of 21st century technology and old-fashioned diplomacy. It's a solution that could work for your practice, too.

Too much information

Our office, Skyline Family Practice, opened in 1994 with an integrated electronic health record (EHR), scheduling program and medical billing program. Our telephone system and our facsimile machine were vital pieces of business equipment. However, the amount of incoming fax traffic and the necessary outbound faxes had escalated exponentially over the years.

To get a handle on who was sending us so many faxes, we mentally sorted them into two categories: medically related faxes and unsolicited junk. Medically related faxes were being sent to us by insurance carriers, pharmacy mail-order companies, nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies and other doctors' offices. The junk messages were being served up by stockbrokers with tips see: Junk Fax Investment Fraud , restaurants with specials, salesmen with real estate offers and the like.

People need to be aware of this. Although the chances of getting sued for sending a fax to a wrong number is very small, there still is a chance. Sending an unsolicited junk fax in the U.S. could cost as much as $1500 dollars in court, plus your time, plus plus plus...

It's important that you know the exact laws if you're going to send people advertisements that they didn't agree to.. For the most part, people don't sue unless you've sent them a ton of faxes and they're really upset. There are also groups of people that collect junk faxes and then send them off to lawyers that specialize in suing junk faxers / junk fax senders.

The laws regarding fax broadcasting have changed in the last year with regards to permission based sending etc.

Junk faxes and The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)

While I'm not against fax broadcasting... I do recommend that people take the time to research the Anti-Junk Fax Laws before sending out faxes that may cost them in fines.

I'm glad to see that the Colorado State Judicial Branch is finally taking a stand on these ambulance chasing lawyers who are making a living out of suing people /companies who send out advertising faxes. We were sued by Andrew Quiat, Lawyer from Colorado who was previous disbarred, for whatever reason, and is now making a living out of suing fax broadcasting companies. He is charging $1500 per fax sent and expects to close a certain amount of cases. Can you imagine explaining to your friends and family about how you make your living.:" I sue people that send out faxes!!" A high level of competency shown there?!!

I'm glad the courts in Colorado are finally ruling properly on these matters. It's pretty bad when companies can't use the most effective and cost effective means to advertise.

See Ten Rules for More Effective Advertising

I'll be bringing more information on Junk faxes and fax broadcasting in the time to come.

It's really important to explore different types of advertising
Ten Rules for More Effective Advertising Leahy's Law states that if a thing is done wrong often enough, it becomes right, and as a result, volume becomes a defense to error. When advertising fails to sway consumers, most advertisers follow Leahy's Law by increasing the frequency of the advertising hoping that more of what is not working will somehow work when consumers are subjected to more of the same.

Use the following 10 simple rules to evaluate the advertising you encounter. You may be disappointed, but don't be surprised when you discover that most advertising fails to follow any of the rules.

In the meantime, I believe that the law firms in Colorado should completely lay off the fax broadcasting companies who allegedly send out junk faxes.
