FAX DOCUMENT SPECIFICATIONS
IMAGE QUALITY IS IMPORTANT
One of the most important points of sending out a fax is to get the fax image to look as clear and close to the original document as possible. As all of our faxing is done in digital format, we must take your image whether paper or digital, and make it into a faxable document.

WE TIME TEST YOUR DOCUMENT
The price quoted for sending the document is based on a time trial of a sample send of your document. This means that we send out a sample to test the time taken to send out your document.

Some things that affect the length of send time are as follows:
• Amount of graphics used
• Amount of greyscale in fonts and graphics.
• Amount of text used.
• The resolution your require. The higher the resolution the better image you'll get.
• The speed of the modem that we send to.

As a rule, the more graphics and greyscale used in the document, the longer it will take to send your document. Example, if you need to send out high level graphics in high fax resolution (200 x 200), this will take much longer than a plain text document with a plain font that is sent in standard fax resolution (200 x 100).

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION METHODS

You may submit your document to us using the following methods:

• Fax us your document directly from your fax modem on your computer using a program like winfax. This will give you the best quality copy of your original artwork.
• Paper fax machine (fine mode) to our fax server. This won't give the best quality out put, but it will show us what your original document should look like.

We can accept the following file formats:

• MS Word for Windows (complete with fonts)
• PDF (Adobe Acrobat -- Portable Document Format) supported.
• Corel Draw 8 and earlier
• Excel (complete with fonts)
• Adobe Illustrator (complete with fonts)
• Adobe Acrobat (pdf format) (preferred format)
• Winfax .FXS format. Saved as Standard Format 200 x 100. (Unless higher resolution is required.)

Note: Opening your document in an editable format may cause the document to format itself differently than originally intended. This may cause lines to shift to the next line or if fonts are not sent with the document the fonts may not match. For this reason, we usually recommend that you fax us a copy of the original as stated above. If your document shifts when opening it, we will then be able to straighten it out based on the original. We do caution that if approval of the document quality is required prior to transmission, special attention must be paid to this matter.
